Wendy's treatments

"From Professor Wong I learned to combine all the major aspects of Chinese Medicine: massage, acupuncture, herbs and the physical arts to achieve maximum results".

Just as disease arises from a number of causes, each therapy influences a different aspect: Massage helps to release muscle and joint pain, Acupuncture corrects the flow of qi (energy) while Chinese herbs taken between treatments bring balance to the body's organ function. Combined treatment can be particularly powerful.

Wendy is the third generation in a medical family. Her grandfather, Dr Graeme Robertson, was one of the first Neurologists in Australia. He founded the Neurology ward of the Royal Melbourne. Her father, Dr Denis Robertson, is a Respiratory physician who has worked in the Melbourne hospital system for many years. Her mother, Reinhild Robertson, is a consulting psychologist.

At a young age Wendy became interested in Chinese Medicine as she saw it complement the western medical system with an approach that is ancient and balanced. Wendy finds that more than one approach can be beneficial and refers to other practitioners at the WellBeing centre and beyond.

Many people decide to use Wendy's treatments to maintain optimum health and well being throughout their lives. Others continue treatment until a cure is achieved or a condition is managed. The length of treatment depends on many factors. Ultimately you decide on the path you wish to take.
